South Devon is just about the most popular place in the country to visit and Dawlish is no exception, that’s why Park Holidays UK has 3 fantastic Holiday parks there (hope we don’t seem too greedy, we just love the area). Golden Sands is new to Park Holidays UK but it feels like it’s been part of the group for years and families have been enjoying their holidays at Golden Sands for years.
In 2008, we welcomed our first ever owner on this popular holiday park and many other owners have bought their own caravans here since. Owning your own caravan not only gives you the freedom to visit whenever you want but also provides a useful income if you want to sublet, particularly during peak season

Directions
By Car:
Leave the M5 at junction 30 and take the A379 to Dawlish. Drive through Starcross and continue on the A379 for about 2 miles. The Park is signposted to the left of the road 1 mile before Dawlish. Go about 200 yards down Week Lane and the entrance is on the left.
By Train:
Do not book to Dawlish Warren but to DAWLISH where there are taxis and a bus service to the Park.

Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway
Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway runs for 7 miles in Great Western tradition from Paignton along the spectacular Torbay coast to Churston and on through the wooded slopes bordering the Dart estuary to Kingswear. The scenery is superb, with seascapes right across Lyme bay to Portland Bill on clear days.
