What We Say...

Located between the historic towns of Rye and Hastings, Winchelsea Sands is the perfect base to explore the regions history and attractions. Not that you need to leave the park as we have everything you could wish for right here, including a great entertainment venue which is busiest at weekends and during peak season and a terrific pool for splashing about.

If you do leave the park and go exploring you are spoiled for choice. There are some lovely beaches nearby for those who enjoying soaking up the rays or building sand castles. Culture vultures will love the nearby town of Rye with its castle, art galleries and wide range of unusual shops. Visit the Hop Farm for a great family day out with its waxworks and new driving school for children - Look out, Tommy’s in top gear!

  • Follow the M20. Leave the M20 at junction 10, then at roundabout take the 4th exit onto Bad Munstereifel Road.
  • At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Bad Munstereifel Road - A2070.
  • Branch left, then at roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A2070 (signposted Brenzett).
  • Entering Brenzett at roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Straight Lane - A259.
  • Entering Rye, at miniroundabout turn left onto Fishmarket Road - A259.
  • At mini-roundabout turn left onto Winchelsea Road - A259 and turn left onto Sea Road.
  • Bear left onto Sea Road. Entering Winchelsea Beach, continue forward onto Pett Level Road.
  • You have arrived at Winchelsea Beach.
