Oaklands is ideal for those looking for a peaceful countryside setting which is close enough to the lively resort of Clacton-on-Sea to be accessible, but far enough away to enjoy the rural peace and quiet. The Park is surrounded by countryside but features an attractive fishing lake as its centre piece. You don’t have to be a fisherman to enjoy the lake as it’s also an ideal spot to relax and take in the local wildlife.
Don’t think that Oaklands is just about total relaxation as there is a very lively and friendly community of owners who get together most evenings in our newly refurbished club room and enjoy the company of like-minded people – with entertainment laid on most weekends and during the peak holiday season.

Directions
- From the M25, junction 28, take the A12 (signposted Colchester).
- Continue forward onto the Colchester bypass, (signposted Colchester North, Ipswich, Harwich).
- At junction 29 branch left (signposted Colchester North) then at the next take the second exit on to the A1232 (signposted Colchester).
- Continue forward and straight across the first roundabout, at the second roundabout turn left on to the A133 (signposted Clacton).
- Follow the A133 and cross over the next two roundabouts, then at the third roundabout turn right onto the B1028.
- Take the left hand fork, the B1027 and follow signs for St Osyth, Brightlingsea.
- Follow the B1027 through Arlesford and Thorrington and you will reach Oaklands Holiday Park on your left.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our thanks and our thoughts on becoming new members of 'Oaklands' and park Holidays
Although new to Park Holidays we are not new to caravanning and therefore are able to judge the site and staff with some expertise.
Firstly we find you have a big asset in Terri Lacey. Her enthusiasm and energy infects everyone around her and during our transition from 'Allens' has been in constant contact to oversee that our move went smoothly.
We feel we are moving onto a site with potential that will improve year by year.
Finally, many thanks for an enjoyable 'owners only' party, which we will look forward to for many years to come.

I am writing to explain how happy we were with our recent experience in upgrading our caravan. Both Terri and Colin were exceptional in their handling of the event. They listened carefully to our wish-list and available resources and circumstances. Then they worked tirelessly to find a suitable caravan, which they did, and they expedited the sales process and affected a very timely transfer. All in all we found this to be a very positive experience and would happily discuss any future upgrade when the time comes.
In addition, I would like to express my appreciation of the efforts of the sales team in making Oaklands a friendly and positive caravanning experience. They always have a cheery smile and friendly greeting, and I know that whatever my question or issue I can safely take it to the team and it will be handled sensitively and speedily.
