Keep Your Holiday Home Even Longer – 20 Years Guaranteed!

Park Holidays UK is pleased to announce that with effect from June 2010 we are extending the guaranteed licence period for all buyers of caravan holiday homes on our 25 parks.

Historically the majority of UK holiday parks only guaranteed 10 years for new holiday homes from date of first purchase. In 2006 we extended this to 12 years – and now we are adding even more years for you to enjoy!

Depending on the location of the park, you will enjoy a minimum of 20 years for a new holiday home and the balance of that period for a used mode.

After the guaranteed period there is the opportunity to extend your licence for a further period by mutual consent, reviewed annually and where we take into consideration the condition of your holiday home.

At most of our parks you will see holiday homes over well over 20 and even 30 years old still in good condition and being enjoyed by their owners. And today’s new holiday homes are build even better – with pitched roofs, improved insulation and often PVCu double glazing, central heating and a galvanised chassis. They are built to last, and last and last!

So you can buy with confidence – knowing your investment in a holiday home will be there for you to use for many more years than every before.

We believe this is the most generous licence period offered by any of the major UK park groups.

This is available to everyone – new customers and existing owners that buy a caravan holiday home from 1 June 2010.

Existing owners that keep their current holiday home and any subsequent private sale buyer are unaffected by these changes – they will continue to enjoy the same guaranteed licence period and benefits as before.
