Frenchman's Beach, Rye, East Sussex

Frenchmans Beach enjoys a fabulous location next to Rye Harbour

Frenchman's Beach is small, friendly park with a genuine 'family feel'

Rye is one of those ‘must-see’ places that everyone should visit at least once and where better to stay that at Frenchman’s Beach Holiday Park - situated alongside Rye Harbour and adjacent to a nature reserve, giving our guests the very best of both worlds.

The Family club provides evening entertainment and Sky TV is available for those all-important sporting fixtures. The small indoor pool may not be Olympic sized but it’s perfect for children and adults who just want to splash about.

Rye town centre is just 2 miles away from the park and we wouldn’t be surprised if you spend several days exploring the history and culture of this fascinating town. Did you know that this part of Rye was once under the sea and the land has been claimed back over the years? Good job if you ask us, we really like having such a nice park so close to Rye.

Excellent, friendly, small and everything you need. It's been our holiday destination for the last seven years. The staff lead by Diane are extremely hard-working and always on call if you need anything. Our kids (now 10, 14 and 17!) would be devastated if we didn't keep coming back. Extremely good value for money. Also good local pubs (and grub) especially the William the Conqueror - walking distance - the landlord Bernie is the best pub chef we know !!!! See you all again soon !!!

The cleanliness of the park was very good and there was always a welcoming smile from the reception who were always eager to help. The evening entertainment was good, even for the kids.

Fantastic value for money, small, friendly and exceptionally clean. Ideal for families with young children as you can walk to the beach without going on a road.

It was an overall brilliant experience. Everything that we could possibly need was there.

The Park is perfect for relaxing. We went back because there were too many places to see in a week. This year the weather was perfect but it didn't matter last year when it rained we always found something to do. I would be happy to recommend the park to anyone whatever age, whether a couple or a family group.
Mr B, Grimsby, South Humberside, 5th Sep 2008

Fabulous location. The children enjoyed the swimming pool and playground. So much to do in the surrounding area. A good site if you like dogs.
