Our holiday was great, enjoyed it very much. There were some bad points but that was due to nature. Due to heavy rain the pool was closed but was only ten minute drive from the other park pool which is free. It was muddy but the park staff rang us the day before to tell us to bring wellies. (not the parks fault). The staff were friendly and always there for help. The entertainment was good and good for the kids. bar wasnt too expensive.
Hastings is only eight miles away and there is alot to do there.
The beach is across the road but is stoney so if you want sand you have to travel a little of 7 miles to Cambers Sands which is lovely.
great place now looking to buy a holiday home there.
Thankyou Winchelsea.

If you want a getaway from it all type holiday, this is it. Out holiday home overlooked fields of sheep, rabbits were frequent visitors around our caravan, and ducks came for bread regularly and practically ate out of our hands they were so tame. The beach was in walking distance, and the cinque ports of both Rye and Hastings were both a short bus ride away (we left the car at the caravan park and being over 60 we used our free bus travel passes throughout the holiday going as far as Eastbourne and Tenterden). We went out every day and managed to see lots of lovely places. A very enjoyable holiday
Mrs M, Warrington, 11th Oct 2008
Nice, friendly, relaxed and quiet park, friendly helpful staff with the beach nearby.
Mr H, 10th Dec 2008
The park is located in a very accessible location. With many National Trust sites and local towns to be viewed. If you do not want to use the car, there is an abundance of walks in all directions.
Mr B, 10th Dec 2008
Peace and quiet, but plenty of local attractions with plenty to see and do.

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, and relaxing site this is for you. No noise, no loud music, little or no organised entertainment. Perfect to sit and unwind listening to the birds twittering. Bliss. Have already rebooked to go again in October.
