Riviera Bay Holiday Park, Devon
Stunning views are just one of the reasons why our guests return year after year
'West is best’ as they say and Riviera Bay is our most westerly park. Fantastic facilities including a great indoor pool, large entertainment venue, and popular restaurant help to make Riviera Bay the first choice for family fun holidays. And of course you’ll want to get out and explore the many attractions when you stay in this area. The mild climate means t-shirts and shorts for most of the season (sorry no "knobbly knees" competitions – our entertainment is bang up to date and well worth the trip just for the live shows alone!)
There’s far too many places to go and attractions to visit but that’s where we come in – tell us what you love to do and our teams on the park will recommend some great days out.

The fantastic views make this site well worth visiting again and again we have just booked for our 3rd consecative year. Lots to do around the area especially the beautiful Brixham harbour with its excellent restraunts (Beamers) Fish & Chips (Niks) , boat trips on the Brixham belle and its unforgetable crew and not forgetting the brixham ghost walk.

3rd June 2009
We have just returned from a 4 night holiday and were very pleased. The only down side was that there was an old banana left under one of the beds in the chalet which was quickly cleaned up.
We have to say that what made the holiday was the live entertainment. On other holidays of this ilk we would go to the shows and come home quite quickly, but the staff got everyone involved and their live shows knocked the spots off other parks. We even won a free holiday, so can't complain.
The chalet was basic but newly decorated with double glazing (although I will take my own heater when I go back in October!)and seeing as we paid half price through the newspaper promotion, we did get value for money.
If you want 5* then book a 5* hotel, but if you want a good family holiday, where the kids will be happy and can go for a swim everyday, then try it. We had one of the best british holidays we've had in years, but we went determined to enjoy ourselves!

Me and my family had a REALLY good time there, couldn't wish to be at a better park and set in a really nice location too. It is that good we've booked to go again this year. Thanks to everyone at Rivera Bay.

Weekend Break at Riviera Bay 27th-30th March 2009
My wife and I feel we must write to pass on our feelings regarding our visit to your site.
We booked through the sun holiday scheme and thought we may use the experience as a cheap weekend away and use the site as no more than a base. As neither of us had been on holiday in this country during our adult life's we left on Friday almost with a feeling of trepidation.
However, after the weekend experience with yourselves we will definitely be coming again!
Firstly the entertainment team. I never thought I would say this but absolutely superb. Professional, warm, courteous, funny and above all very entertaining! Despite the fact that each night they were performing in front of a very small audience the effort shown by all was faultless. We have two young children, Harry (two and a half) and Holly (one) and they were absolutely enthralled. Normally they are both in bed by 7 o clock but they were enjoying themselves so much we let them stay up with us until 11 on the Sunday evening. We went to a first choice Holiday Village in Majorca last year and our son showed no interest so to see him so happy when your team were doing their thing was great. Infact, both the adult and children entertainment blows the Holiday Village stuff out of the water. The way they ensure they got to know all the kids first names on the Friday night was a fantastic idea. We all thought the whole team were great but special mention must go to the 19 year old lad with the dark hair. I believe his name was Josh. He was naturally funny and seemed to be giving everything he had to ensure people enjoyed themselves. First class.
The restaurant. Again at the so say four star Holiday Villages the best you can hope for is pizza and sausages served by surely waitresses. The food at riviera bay is obviously your normal pub type food but was pleasant enough. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Better service than I had received in a top quality restaurant. One evening we had run out of milk for our baby girl and the shop was shut. Without complaint the staff supplied us with some milk and did not even charge us.
The chalets. Basic but very clean and superb views. Much much better than expected on all counts.
Crazy golf and bowling- Very reasonably priced and perfect for a sports mad two year old boy.
The young lad who looks after the amusents was also very helpful and went out of his way to make conversation.
Only downsides to the camp - beer a bit pricey, swimming pool could be bigger. That's it. Everything else was great. Even the lady in the shop was very friendly. As were the ladies in reception.
Finally just want to mention the little boy who played cards and bowling with my son. He even gave me a game of darts. I believe he is the managers son. A credit to his parents.
Overall, believe me, my wife and I were not expecting to come away on Monday with us both so gushing with the Riviera bay experience. But we were. As was Harry who has not stopped talking about it since.
Please pass on our thanks to all concerned and we hope to see you all again soon.

Riviera Bay Holiday Park - Customer Reviews
21st January 2009
Riviera Bay is quite simply the best holiday location I have ever been to - I've stayed in everything from campsites to 5* hotels and in 37 years I have NEVER booked the same location twice - too many places to see, too little time. From the minute we arrived at Riviera Bay we were enchanted. The location is stunning, the staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful, the park is immaculately maintained inside and out and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. We had all kinds of excursions and nights out planned, but we spent 90% of our holiday at Riviera Bay! Within 24 hours we had made the decision to book again next year.

Location very nice, plenty to see and do and only a short distance from town.
Mrs P, 10th Dec 2008
I found it a very friendly family park, its location was ideal, the standard of the chalets and the park was excellent.
Mrs N, 10th Dec 2008
Great location, great value, friendly and fun for all - old and young.
