Riviera Bay Holiday Park, Devon

Devon family fun at its best

Stunning views are just one of the reasons why our guests return year after year

'West is best’ as they say and Riviera Bay is our most westerly park. Fantastic facilities including a great indoor pool, large entertainment venue, and popular restaurant help to make Riviera Bay the first choice for family fun holidays. And of course you’ll want to get out and explore the many attractions when you stay in this area. The mild climate means t-shirts and shorts for most of the season (sorry no "knobbly knees" competitions – our entertainment is bang up to date and well worth the trip just for the live shows alone!)

There’s far too many places to go and attractions to visit but that’s where we come in – tell us what you love to do and our teams on the park will recommend some great days out.

Brixham Riviera Bay is a very quiet place for relaxation and total peace if this is what you require. The coastal walks are superb. The small bays along the paths to Paignton are heaven sent. You can walk for miles in total bliss. The complex has aged but still retains an old world charm, smart grass cut, everything up to scratch.
Only small negatives in the chalet we stayed, like the electric hobs were a bit rusty and corroded on the electric cooker.
Also could have done with more varied entertainment, last year in April 2009 there was a magician and comedian and more showy shows with more people.
Also the breakfasts were on the mean side and another sausage was 50p extra. Must be the sausage credit crunch!
The evening meals, a lot of the choices were not included as extra was required to pay on the half board basis which we had.
Should reconsider this as scampi and chips is only £2.99 in the Town centre.
But on the whole I have rebooked...as I loved it, fresh air and rugged cliffs yards from my chalet and those seagulls and wild birds, don't get many of them were we live.
Thank you Park Holidays.

The fantastic views make this site well worth visiting again and again we have just booked for our 3rd consecative year. Lots to do around the area especially the beautiful Brixham harbour with its excellent restraunts (Beamers) Fish & Chips (Niks) , boat trips on the Brixham belle and its unforgetable crew and not forgetting the brixham ghost walk.

We have just returned from a 4 night holiday and were very pleased. The only down side was that there was an old banana left under one of the beds in the chalet which was quickly cleaned up.
We have to say that what made the holiday was the live entertainment. On other holidays of this ilk we would go to the shows and come home quite quickly, but the staff got everyone involved and their live shows knocked the spots off other parks. We even won a free holiday, so can't complain.
The chalet was basic but newly decorated with double glazing (although I will take my own heater when I go back in October!)and seeing as we paid half price through the newspaper promotion, we did get value for money.
If you want 5* then book a 5* hotel, but if you want a good family holiday, where the kids will be happy and can go for a swim everyday, then try it. We had one of the best british holidays we've had in years, but we went determined to enjoy ourselves!
